Yes. Every officer we deploy holds a current SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence and is vetted to BS 7858, the British Standard for security personnel screening. Their licence is checked before every deployment and our compliance records are open for your inspection. All of our officers are directly employed by Risk Secured, with no agency staff or subcontractors.
Most sites are over-guarded on some shifts and under-guarded on others because no one has reviewed the threat picture since the contract started. We carry out a short site assessment, look at your incident history and specific risks, and give you an honest recommendation — including where you can reduce hours without increasing risk. There is no charge for the assessment and no obligation to proceed.
Every contract includes full SIA licensing and BS 7858 vetting, a site assignment instructions document, body-worn camera provision, live incident logging on DOB·Live, access to VCIN vehicle intelligence, and direct access to senior management. Open-book pricing means you see the breakdown of what you are paying for.

A static guard is on your site for the full shift, providing a continuous presence and handling everything that happens there. A mobile patrol officer visits multiple sites during a shift, making a check and moving on. Static guarding costs more per site because the officer is dedicated to you, but provides a stronger visible deterrent and a faster response to incidents.
If an officer works mainly on your site, they are normally protected by TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment)) when you change provider. That means they transfer to us on their existing terms, keeping your team in place and avoiding gaps in cover. Our officers are trained and legally entitled to use reasonable force to protect people and property and to prevent crime. All SIA-licensed officers hold powers of citizen’s arrest. Physical intervention is always a last resort: our training emphasises de-escalation and early communication to prevent situations reaching that point.
In many cases, yes, because insurers see a documented security presence as reducing the risk of theft, vandalism and liability claims. We provide full DOB·Live reporting, which gives your insurer timestamped, GPS-located evidence that patrols and checks were completed. Ask your insurer or broker what security measures they require, and we will make sure your contract covers them.
